The MOMS Club is a support group for stay at home moms looking for a variety of activities for you and your children. Internationally, the MOMS Club has over 1500+ chapters in seven countries, and we represent more than 75,000 members! www.MOMSclub.org
Most of our activities are during the day and are kid friendly. The MOMS Club is a wonderful way for you to meet moms and a fun way for your child
to meet other children! Although some of us have lived here for years and are experienced mothers, many of us are new in town or new to motherhood! We all have one thing in common – the MOMS Club introduced us to other moms… the ones who soon became our friends. We believe being a mother shouldn’t isolate you, so you may bring your children with you to anything we do. We are a kid friendly group and welcome babies and children of all ages. Monthly Meetings:
Club Connection - Come visit our next meeting! Our meetings are usually held on the first Monday of the month at 9:30am. (A public event will be made on the page every month or you could email us for information about the next meeting.) We meet to socialize while the kids play and have a short informal meeting. We also supply toys, crafts and activities for the kids and coffee for the moms. Activity Groups:
We offer activity groups for members with common interests including monthly Moms Night Out (MNO) or Moms Night In (MNI). We are always interested in new ideas and new groups! Outings:
Every month there are casual outings to choose from. Depending on the season choices may include meeting at a playground, library, apple picking, movies, sledding, or local family friendly events. JUMP:
“Just Us Moms Playing” is a time for Moms to get together. Time to socialize with adults over coffee, brunch or lunch. Sunshine Committee:
Any mom in need of assistance for whatever reason (i.e. new baby, tragedy in the family, etc.) can sign up for help with meals or anything else that may be helpful to them during their time of need. Service Projects & Fundraisers:
Each year we choose a project to help other families in our community. Some of the Charities that we have sponsored in the past include: Ronald McDonald House, Women’s Veterans Home, Alpha Pregnancy Center, Books For Troops, Hannah’s Hope, Domestic Violence & R**e, Compassionate Friends, Crisis Center, Schenectady Mission, The Great Sprout Tuck-In, Graces Closet and Captain's. We have an active group on Facebook ‘MOMS Club of Clifton Park’. We will only add you to that group after you’ve officially become a member, for privacy of our other members. Dues:
Our dues are $30 a year.* You may attend two club events before you decide to become a member. We understand that being a mother-at-home often means a tight family budget, so if the dues would be a hardship for your family, we can work together to make sure that you can still join the club. If you only have interest in attending the activities that are -moms only-, we have an Associate Membership for $20 a year.
