This past weekend, we joined hands and hearts with the community for a triple celebration honoring Buddha Day, Mother’s Day, and Tzu Chi Day. 💐🙏❤️

This year’s gathering carried special meaning, too, as we also celebrated Tzu Chi’s 60th Anniversary, marking six decades of compassion, humanitarian relief, and service.

Families, volunteers, and neighbors gathered in gratitude to offer prayers for peace and reflect on the spirit of kindness and unity that connects us all. And indeed, throughout the celebration, moments of reflection and heartfelt appreciation abounded, filling the air with warmth and sincerity. May there be peace in our hearts, and blessings for all beings.

🌱【Springtime Warmth, Love in Action】
On the second day of spring, the food distribution site was filled with warmth and joyful energy. Volunteers thoughtfully prepared not only daily necessities, but also clothing, allowing care recipients to choose what they need with ease and dignity.
Beyond the distribution of supplies, what truly flows is care, respect, and human connection. In the gentle light of spring, every small act of kindness comes together, nurturing hearts and spreading warmth throughout the community.

🌿 Deloitte Impact Day at Tzu Chi! 🌿

On June 6, 2025, 34 Deloitte US employees joined forces with Tzu Chi USA Greater Washington D.C. Region volunteers for Deloitte Impact Day! 💪✨

Together, they rolled up their sleeves to:
✅ Prepare food for community distribution
🎨 Paint railings and beautify the campus
🤝 Strengthen the spirit of compassion through service

This collaboration showcased corporate social responsibility in action: where professional talent meets heartfelt service. The Deloitte volunteers also gained a deeper understanding of Tzu Chi’s missions and diverse community programs in the Greater D.C. area.

Both Deloitte and Tzu Chi volunteers shared the same hope: that this day of giving back would inspire even more young professionals to embark on a volunteer journey with Tzu Chi. 💙🌍

On October 25th, Tzu Chi Youth Group - the middle and high school students experienced the beauty and mindfulness of the tea ceremony. 🍵
Through learning how to serve tea with respect and calm, they discovered that every pour is also a lesson in gratitude and compassion.
A simple cup of tea can warm not only the hands, but also the heart. 💖

With heartfelt gratitude to our young volunteers for their dedication and teamwork — today, we unloaded, organized, and distributed hundreds of pounds of food to families in need. Seeing the long line reminded us of how precious these resources are, and how compassion in action can warm many hearts. Every helping hand and every sincere smile brought love and hope to our community. 🙏💐

“I heard hail hitting the window… then the house fell down around me.” 🌪️

After deadly tornadoes struck St. Louis, Tzu Chi volunteers brought $156K in aid, warmth, and hope to 600 survivors. 💙
