Our team was out again talking to more pet-friendly residential properties in Downtown Reno, handing out dog waste bags to pups on the street, putting up more signage and sharing information about the fines levied for not picking up after your dog (WC code 55.130; fines of up to $500.) Great news to end the work week: Reno-Tahoe tourism hits record with nearly $500M in room tax revenue. Congratulations to Reno Tahoe and all those who work so hard investing in downtown and our Reno community at large!

“This record belongs to the entire Reno Tahoe community,” Larragueta said. “Nearly $500 million in taxable room revenue means visitors are staying in our hotels, eating in our restaurants, supporting local businesses and experiencing everything this region has to offer.”
