The Downtown Reno Partnership joins the City of Reno Government in congratulating Corey Solferino, who has been named the new Reno Police Department Chief.

Today, Reno City Council officially ratified the appointment and swore in new Reno Police Chief, Corey Solferino!

“I’m grateful for the trust and confidence placed in me by the Reno City Council, City Manager Bryant, and this community,” said Chief Corey Solferino. “It is an honor to officially serve as Reno’s Chief of Police. I look forward to continuing the work of strengthening the department, supporting our officers and professional staff, building strong community partnerships, and ensuring the Reno Police Department remains focused on delivering professional, transparent, and community-centered public safety services.”
