Our vision is that all people living in Redwood City and North Fair Oaks are healthy, safe, and successful. We bring our community residents together with local organizations and public agencies to develop and implement a wide range of projects that are focused on building on strengths and addressing needs in our community. Our goals are to reduce the impact of poverty, improve the academic succes
s of students, increase community engagement, and enhance safety. Redwood City Together serves an ethnically diverse population of children, youth, and families from some of the most impoverished and under-resourced neighborhoods in San Mateo County where poverty, violence, and a lack of social services often present barriers to the safety, health, and success of community residents. Redwood City Together brings together key public and private organizations in our community in ongoing efforts to ensure the health and success of all children, youth and families served by the Redwood City School District. While no single organization can address complex community issues, we believe that, together, we can affect the positive change needed in Redwood City and North Fair Oaks.
