Meet our newest teacher! Brooke McGowen 🎨

Brooke studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago before continuing her painting studies in Vienna, Austria. After years of exhibiting work internationally and developing her own expressive “flow” painting style in New York, she now creates and teaches here in our home of Shasta County.

Starting June 4, Brooke will be leading Energetic Life Drawing at the Shasta Arts Council. This class is an expressive 18+ figure drawing class focused on gesture, rhythm, movement, and self-expression through live models.

No perfection required. No experience needed. Just bring your materials and come draw.
