Don’t forget!!!
TODAY!!!
Noon– 2:00 PM!
We’ll be set up near Family Fare in Bacon Park creating space for conversation, connection, resources, or simply just a place to stop by and say hello. Whether you want to talk, ask questions, learn about local supports, or just sit with people who care you are welcome exactly as you are.

Mental health conversations matter, and sometimes the smallest connection can make the biggest difference. We hope to see you there 💚

Since launching in 2022, the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline has already received more than 16 million calls, texts, and chats from people reaching out for help, support, hope, or simply someone to listen.

That is 16 million moments where someone chose to stay.
16 million reminders that people do not have to suffer alone.
16 million opportunities for connection in someone’s darkest moment.

Mental health struggles do not always look the way people expect them to. Sometimes the strongest smiles are hiding the heaviest pain. Sometimes people just need someone to answer the phone and remind them they matter.
988 is available 24/7 for anyone experiencing:
• Suicidal thoughts
• Mental health crises
• Substance use crises
• Emotional distress
• Or concern for someone they love

You can CALL or TEXT 988 anytime to speak with a trained crisis counselor. Support is free, confidential, and available day or night.

Mental Health Awareness Month reminder:
Check on your strong friends too.

The ones who always show up for everyone else.
The ones who make people laugh, give the advice, hold it together, stay busy, and say “I’m fine” without hesitation.

Sometimes the people carrying the heaviest weight are the ones who have gotten the best at hiding it.

Strength does not mean someone doesn’t get tired.
It doesn’t mean they don’t struggle.
And it definitely doesn’t mean they should have to carry everything alone.

A simple “How are you really doing?” can matter more than you realize.
A text. A call. Sitting with someone. Showing up. It all matters.

This month and every month let’s normalize checking in, listening without judgment, and reminding people they do not have to struggle in silence. 💚

Today, the One Conversation team spent time downtown in recognition of May being Mental Health Awareness Month. 💚

This afternoon, we had meaningful conversations, shared mental health resources, gave out some prizes, and reminded others that they do not have to carry everything alone.
Sometimes awareness looks like big events. Sometimes it looks like simply showing up, listening without judgment, and creating a space where people feel safe enough to breathe for a moment.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by,spun the wheel, asked questions, learned more about One Conversation, or simply said hi to us. Every interaction mattered.
This is what One Conversation is about:
reducing stigma, building connection, and reminding our community that healing often begins with one honest conversation. 🫶🏼

We hope you will join us each Wednesday throughout the month of May from 12 PM – 2 PM as we continue bringing these conversations into the community.
📍 Wednesday, May 13 — Founders Park
📍 Wednesday, May 20 — Family Fare in Bacon Park
📍 Wednesday, May 27 — Rushmore Crossing (parking lot closest to Eglin by Petco)
Come as you are. Stay as long as you need. 💚
