Great partnerships don't happen by accident. They are built through trust, transparency, honest conversations, and a willingness to challenge each other to think bigger.

Join us in Chicago for Networking Unplugged: Morning Edition, sponsored by Viant, for an unscripted conversation between agency and client leaders about what it really takes to build strong, lasting partnerships.

Moderated by Erin Donohoe, VP, Sales at Viant, this candid discussion will feature:

• Erin Houg, Vice President of Media, CRM and Personalization, Ulta Beauty, and Marissa Rutherford, EVP, Managing Director, Omnicom Media Group

• Anna Johnson, Director, Precision Digital & Marketing Analytics, Molson Coors, and Colleen Meenan, Executive Vice President, Connect at Publicis Media

• Maureen Glure, Client President, WPP Media with Whitney Gretz, VP of Media and Digital Marketing, Wendy’s

Together, they'll explore how partnerships evolve over time and discuss the role of trust, tension, and radical collaboration in driving better ideas and more impactful work. With topics like AI, performance, attention, and transparency shaping today's industry, expect honest perspectives from both sides of the table and a few insights you may not hear anywhere else.

Walking the Talk in LA.

On May 12, more than 30 women gathered in Los Angeles for an evening of intimate table discussions designed to spark candid conversation and meaningful new connections. Throughout the night, attendees shared experiences, exchanged ideas, and built relationships that extended far beyond the room.

“I really enjoyed the conversations and topics everyone felt safe discussing, finding our common bonds that bring us even closer together, and networking to meet new faces and reconnect with friends,” shared one attendee.

One of the best parts of the evening was watching so many women exchange contact information and commit to staying connected long after the conversations ended.

Our LA community continues to grow richer, closer, and more connected with every conversation.

Congratulations to our May Member of the Month, Caroline!

Based in New York and working in Media Ad Sales, Caroline has been an active She Runs It member for the past two years, making an impact through the Northeast Committee, New Member Meetings, She Runs It/He Gets It, and She Runs It initiatives at NBCUniversal.

What stands out most is Caroline’s commitment to showing up, building meaningful relationships, and continuing to grow both personally and professionally. From expanding internal connections through advocacy to completing the final semester of her Master’s program, she embodies the power of saying yes to new opportunities.

Her advice to fellow members:
“Make the most of your membership by saying yes, showing up, and being open to trying new things.”

There’s a reason people say, “If you want something done well, give it to a busy woman.”

Working mothers have mastered the art of navigating complexity with resilience, perspective, and purpose. They lead teams, support families, solve problems, and somehow continue showing up for others every single day.

That’s why we’re excited for our today's Executive Class Connects featuring our 2026 Working Mothers of the Year honorees, Laura Thornton and Sandy Impson, in conversation with fellow Executive Class Member and 2025 Working Mother of the Year, Linda Villani.

Together, they’ll share honest insights on balancing demanding careers and equally demanding lives, embracing progress over perfection, and leading with intention both at work and at home.

Whether you’re a parent, caregiver, mentor, or simply navigating the many demands of leadership, this conversation promises practical wisdom, relatable stories, and meaningful inspiration.

Speakers:
• Laura Thornton, Executive Director, Customer Engagement Marketing, General Motors
• Sandy Impson, Senior Agency Lead, Google
• Linda Villani, CRO Consulting/ARC Collective, Board Member

This conversation is open to all Executive Class members. Learn more at the link below.
