WE KEEP GOING. đź’—

Today, on Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day, we're honoring the voices and experiences of those living with metastatic breast cancer, including our own Leadership Council Member, Robin Browne.

Diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer just after her 28th birthday, Robin has spent the past decade navigating treatment, uncertainty, milestones, loss, and all the moments that make up a life.

Earlier this year, Robin took the stage at TPA Talks to share her perspective on resilience, reminding us that strength doesn't always look the way we expect it to.

“We’re a community and we can support each other best when we’re honest about our experiences.”

Her message is a powerful reminder of why community matters. There is no single way to experience breast cancer, and making space for every story helps us better understand and support one another.

This Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day, we're grateful to Robin for sharing hers with such honesty, vulnerability, and heart.

Last night’s Annual New York Gala brought a little glamour, a little mystery, and a whole lot of heart to Tribeca Rooftop, all in support of a cause that means so much to our community.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our New York Committee, Host Committee, sponsors, event partners, donors, guests, volunteers, and supporters, we’ve raised $435,000 and counting to advance lifesaving breast cancer research.

This October, we’re putting the focus where it belongs: on the faces of breast cancer.

The survivors. The thrivers. The previvors. Those living with metastatic breast cancer. Those at high risk. Those navigating a diagnosis. The families, friends, and communities who show up beside them.

Breast cancer is not one story or one experience. And awareness means more when we listen to the people whose lives have been shaped by it.

Throughout Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we’ll be sharing the faces and stories of our community: their experiences, their perspectives and their reasons for supporting lifesaving breast cancer research.

Because behind every statistic is a person. Behind every story is a community. And behind everything we do at The Pink Agenda are the people who give this work its purpose. đź’—
