There's nothing like watching our after-school space fill up with students and families getting ready for a brand new year! We loved welcoming students and families into our after-school space to kick off the new year with the resources and supplies they need to feel confident and ready to learn.

From backpacks to notebooks to hair gel and everything in between, this drive is all about making sure our Providence students start the school year strong — and it wouldn't be possible without our incredible community of volunteers, donors, and partners.

Mark your calendars for Sept. 16th! We're officially re-opening our space for the school year on September 16, and we hope to see you then. It was great to see so many students and families in our space at the Back to School Bash, and we can't wait to see you all again!

Please note that our drop-in hours are changing to 2:30- 4pm this school year. We welcome students to join our task forces and other programming in the space from 4-6pm. Let us know if you have any questions or need supplies in the meantime.

We have tons of cute and functional backpacks all being given away for FREE along with tons of other back to school necessities, join us on August 26th at 2:30 at our office at 763R Westminster street behind Big feeling and Nice Slice to enjoy food,raffles and free resources!

The youth are excited for our Back to School Bash event this Wednesday 8/26, and you should be too! We had volunteers and youth come in today to set up and we can't wait to open up our space for the event. See you on Wednesday from 2:30-5:30pm! Back to school season is a great opportunity to reaffirm our dedication to access and equity in our schools. Article 9 of the Student Bill of Rights aims to ensure every student has the supplies they need to show up as their best selves. Join PSU in filling that gap this school year, donate supplies lying around your house, $$ to support the cause or volunteer with us so that we can make sure every student has access to equitable resources this fall.

Join PSU for the Back to School Bash on Wednesday, August 26 from 2:30-5:30pm! This event is open to young people of all ages and their families. We’ll have free back-to-school essentials, food, music, information on community resources, and a chance to win raffle prizes. We are distributing essential items for the start of the school year, such as:
- Hygiene products (shampoo, body wash, deodorant, feminine products, etc.)
- Assorted clothing and accessories in various sizes from our free clothing closet
- School supplies (notebooks, paper, pens, folders, art supplies, etc.)
- Backpacks, tote bags, supply pouches, etc.
- Self-care products (water bottles, laundry products, aromatherapy products)

Community members– we are looking for volunteers and supply donations to support the event. Check out the links in our bio for more information and let us know if you have any questions.

Youth members– we’ve missed you and look forward to seeing everyone soon! Please DM us with any questions or feedback.
