Providence Tourism Council The Providence Tourism Council works to increase the economic impact of tourism, events, commerce & engagement of visitors to the City of Providence.

The Providence Tourism Council (PTC) strives to increase the economic impact of tourism, commerce and engagement of visitors through the development of events, programs and tourism within the City of Providence. Through public relations, marketing and events, the PTC works collaboratively with businesses, organizations and individuals to build awareness of Providence as an arts and multi-cultural destination. By supporting the development of events and programs in the City of Providence, the Providence Tourism Council is creating awareness and assisting the many events, arts and cultural happenings to thrive.

Enjoy seasonal fun at Harvest Fest October 16–18! Think pumpkin painting, local artisan markets, live music, festive drinks, and plenty of spooky-season surprises.

Bring the whole family for a day of brass, beats, and community. 🥁

On Monday, October 12th, Pronk: Providence Honk Fest celebrates Indigenous Peoples' Day with a free, family-friendly outdoor celebration of music, art, and justice at Southside Cultural Center from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

The celebration continues that evening at AS220 with the Pronk after party from 5 p.m. - midnight.

Since 2007, PRONK! has filled Providence streets with activist brass bands, percussion ensembles, and performers from near and far, reclaiming public space with people-powered music and art. It's loud, it's joyful, and it's a celebration of resistance, resilience, and this city we love.

Come ready to march, dance, and make some noise.

Providence landed in Travel + Leisure this month, with a three-day itinerary built around the city's galleries, independent makers, and small businesses. 🎨

The route moves from gallery hopping at Odd-kin and an old dentist's office turned exhibition space to oysters at Gift Horse, free Sunday admission at the RISD Museum, shopping along Wickenden, and a night by WaterFire. Along the way you meet leatherworkers, knitters, designers, and gallery owners who chose to build their businesses right here.

Federal Hill's biggest tradition is back. 🇮🇹

The Federal Hill Commerce Association presents the 41st Annual Galbani Columbus Weekend Festival, taking over Atwells Avenue from October 9 through 12.

Expect over 80 food, art, and retail vendors, three live entertainment stages, family-friendly rides, and the fan-favorite La Cucina Galbani Cooking Stage. Plus, more than 26 Federal Hill restaurants are serving up special dishes just for the celebration.

Festivities run Friday evening through Monday along Atwells Avenue between Dean and Sutton Streets, with over 1,000 parking spaces available. Come hungry and ready to celebrate. 🍝
