A Supervised Agricultural Experience, or SAE, takes learning beyond the classroom and gives students the opportunity to put their skills to work in the real world.

For Prosper FFA members, that might look like raising and caring for livestock at the Prosper ISD Ag Barn, helping operate our student-run floral enterprise, or gaining valuable industry experience through job placements and internships.

SAEs give our students the chance to take ownership, build responsibility, explore careers, and turn what they learn in class into real experience.

This is Agricultural Education beyond the classroom. This is Prosper FFA. 💚

It all starts in the classroom.

Agricultural Science courses at Prosper High School give Prosper students the opportunity to learn by doing. Depending on their pathway, students may design and build projects in the shop, develop animal grooming and veterinary science skills, or learn the art and business of floral design.

Our classrooms combine technical knowledge with hands-on experiences that build problem-solving, teamwork, professionalism, and skills students can carry into college, careers, and beyond.

The classroom is one part of the complete Agricultural Education experience. This is Prosper FFA. 💚

I bet you didn’t realize food was being grown in the middle of the Midway! 🎯 We are so grateful for the opportunity to visit and interview Big Tex Urban Farms for a secret project we’re working on! 👀🌱

We learned so much about urban agriculture, how they are actively supporting Dallas food deserts, and their work with mushrooms, microgreens, and more.
