Prosper Ladies Association Prosper Ladies Association (PLA) provides opportunities to serve the people and needs of our community.

PLA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and we support children, families, first responders, and charitable organizations that serve Prosper ISD. The Prosper Ladies Association is dedicated to supporting children, families and charitable organizations in Texas. Through fundraisers and donations, we help children and families in need. We organize special events and fundraising efforts for those

in need. In addition to raising money for various charitable organizations, the Prosper Ladies Association conducts several fundraisers throughout the year. We welcome new members and information from established non-profit agencies to our community. Please join us on the 4th Monday of most months for our meetings in Prosper. Come and hear how we can work together as a community through special events and fundraising efforts.

Our first PLA meeting of the 2026–2027 year is almost here! 🤍

Join us Monday, September 21 at The Gin as we kick off another year of connecting, serving, and making a difference in our community.

We’re excited to welcome Amy Bartley, Prosper Mayor Pro Tem, and Madison Clark, Executive Director of PEDC, as our guest speakers. Doors open at 7:00 PM, and our meeting begins at 7:30 PM. Grab a drink, order some food, and come hang out with us!

September’s outreach is School Supply Donations for Prosper ISD. If you’d like to participate, bring your donations with you to the meeting. Donations are completely optional and are not required to attend.

And if you’ve been thinking about joining PLA, this is a great meeting to come check us out! Come meet some of our members, see what we’re all about, and learn how you can get involved.

ATTENTION DRIVERS: Construction Update

Volunteers,

Due to road construction on Craig Road, our usual entry point is adjusted to prevent traffic congestion.

Route & Entry Instructions:
1. Approach the school traveling along Craig Road.
2. Enter school grounds using the southernmost entrance off Craig Road (please note: although this is typically an exit-only driveway, we are using it to enter during this distribution).
3. Follow the drive around the back of the school building.
4. Loop around the rear until you reach the cafeteria entrance for bag pickup.

** Flags will be posted on Craig Street at the new entrance. **

Youth in Action!

A huge, energetic thank you to the two incredible youth groups from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who came out to serve with us!

These youth brought so much heart, enthusiasm, and hustle to our packing session. Watching them step up to make sure Prosper students have food on their tables this summer is nothing short of inspiring. They made fast work of filling bags and brought so much joy to the room.

We are so grateful for our vibrant LDS community and their ongoing dedication to serving our neighbors. Thank you all for shining your light and making a real difference!

We are sending a massive shout-out and heartfelt thank you to Stephanie Funk and the entire Funk Realty Group for coming out to pack lunch bags for the Summer Lunch Program!

Stephanie’s dedication to this community runs deep—as a former PLA President and longtime board member, she has been a driving force behind our mission for years. Seeing her bring the Funk Realty Group along to kick off their annual Funk Family Day by serving local students was so special.

As we prepare for our FINAL summer distribution this Saturday, messages like these from local parents remind us why every single bag packed and every route driven matters so deeply.

To make sure every family gets their final delivery, we urgently need volunteer drivers for this Saturday, 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM.

Talk About Speed and Service!

Yesterday, 30 incredible team members from NTO Agency showed us how much heart and hustle they have!

Instead of taking a relaxing lunch break, this amazing crew spent their time packing lunch bags for local families. Not only did they roll up their sleeves to serve our community, but they set a whole new speed record—packing all the bags in an astonishing 22 minutes! ⏱️

We are so grateful for businesses like NTO Agency that generously give their time and energy to support our neighbors. Thank you all for stepping up and making such a huge impact in under half an hour! 👏❤️

Preparing for our Saturday food distribution takes a lot of heart and heavy lifting, and we could not be more grateful for the incredible group of H-E-B Partners who came out to serve our community.

This fantastic crew rolled up their sleeves and spent their time packing food bags to ensure everything is ready to go for local families this weekend.
