Cheek is a site this year!

☀️ Summer meals are almost here!

Denton ISD Child Nutrition will be serving free breakfast and lunch for kids 18 and under at select campuses around the district.

No sign up is needed. Just bring your student by any participating campus to eat with us and enjoy a healthy meal this summer.

Denton ISD Fine Arts welcomes Cheek Middle School’s Choir Director Mr. Julian Yanas!

Mr. Yanas is an educator, conductor, and vocalist based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. Mr. Yanas holds Bachelor of Music degrees in both Choral Music Education and Vocal Performance from the University of North Texas. Mr. Yanas has served as the Music Specialist at Martinez Elementary for the last two years and currently serves as the Music Director of the Cherub Choir at Canyon Creek Presbyterian Church. Prior to joining Martinez Elementary, Mr. Yanas completed his clinical teaching with Braswell High School Choir, conducted in the UNT UpFront! Choir, served as a UNT All-State Choir Camp counselor, and taught private voice lessons.
