The NextGen Giving Circle of the Princeton Area Community Foundation has awarded $30,000 in grants to three local nonprofits!

Congratulations to HomeFront, HomeWorks Trenton, and The Father Center of New Jersey, each receiving $10,000 to support programs that create opportunities for young people in our communities.

We welcomed former New Jersey Gov. Jim McGreevey and Tom Byrne, son of former Gov. Brendan Byrne, to the Community Foundation for a conversation about potential partnerships with the New Jersey Reentry Corporation (NJRC).

Led by Governor McGreevey, NJRC helps individuals rebuild their lives following incarceration and addiction treatment, while also supporting veterans through access to employment, healthcare, housing and other essential services.

Thank you to Governor McGreevey and Tom Byrne for joining us. We look forward to exploring opportunities to work together to strengthen communities throughout New Jersey.

Over the weekend, members of our staff attended Housing Initiatives of Princeton's 25th anniversary celebration, where longtime Community Foundation fundholder Carol Golden was honored for her dedication to the community.

Carol is also a recipient of the Community Foundation's Leslie "Bud" Vivian Award for Community Service. Congratulations to Carol and Housing Initiatives of Princeton on this special milestone!

We were happy to support Greater Somerset County YMCA in 2026, helping provide meaningful summer experiences for children in Princeton. Thank you for all you do to help local youth learn and grow!

Greater Somerset County Y is proud to recognize the Princeton Area Community Foundation for their generous support of Y Camp. Their investment helps provide children in Princeton with a summer experience where they can try new things, make friends, build confidence, and enjoy opportunities to learn and grow.
