On September 11, all are welcome to the memorial garden between Nassau Hall and Chancellor Green at noon, when alumni and University officials will honor and remember the 14 Princetonians who tragically lost their lives that day.

The Class of 2030 will be learning about Princeton University traditions this month, many of which were created by students. The Class of 1858 initiated the Horn Spree — students hid on campus after dark and randomly blew horns — which later transitioned to a September tradition with a signal initiating simultaneous horn blowing. Today, the tradition continues with screams named by residential colleges such as the Holder Howl, Whitman Wail and Yeh Yodel.
