⭐️We are thrilled to announce Michael Rosenthal as Teva Community’s Director of Development⭐️

Michael enjoys a 32-year history of non-profit leadership, serving medically fragile and economically displaced communities locally, nationally and internationally. His passion is to improve health and quality of life by engaging partners in support of programs and services with meaningful outcomes.

He has served as the Executive Director of the Arizona Hemophilia Association, the National Director of the World Federation of Hemophilia USA, the Sr. Director of Fund Development and Philanthropy at Native American Connections in Phoenix.

Michael is a former summer camp director with expertise in serving children and their families with chronic bleeding disorders, cancer, HIV, or children experiencing economic hardship. He has served as a volunteer on various non-profit Boards including the Chicks with Picks Foundation, Whispering Hope Ranch, the Florida Bleeding Disorders Association, and Unbridled Pathways.

He is a graduate of the Arizona State University College of Business and is a native Arizonan, plays guitar, drums, and bass, and did spend a few years as a food critic for a magazine.

Discounted tickets - Cost: $30 for Parent (CRP)/speller pair. $20 for each additional guest.

We will meet at the interior entrance at 1:00 and walk the park together. You can arrive and do the driving portion beforehand at your leisure.

🎨🖌️JUST A FEW SPOTS LEFT! 🖌️🎨

Getting ready for the Teva Community and Tucson Spellers 3-day art and photography workshop with Matthew Palmo. Joining him is his wife, Amy, who will facilitate all the movement activities along with other trained CRPs and volunteers.

We have some great donors this year, which bring down our costs significantly. We can offer the 3 day workshop for $750 total for the speller/CRP pair (not $750 each 😊). If other family members/observers joins they are $150 extra for the weekend. We do have some capacity for scholarships - please note in the reg form if you are interested.

Tentative schedule - weekend should start about 3pm Friday and end about 1pm on Sunday.

We will be doing awesome activities at Teva Community property and in the Prescott, Arizona area. Lodging is not included, but the cost includes meals (not including breakfast), in addition to all the activities and learning opportunities! There are plenty of hotels and airbnb’s in Prescott to choose from for those of you are coming from out of town.

Spellers/AAC users do not need to be open-ended for this workshop. The workshop is for those age 13 and up.

Teva is an Arizona ESA vendor and we have already had success getting funds for a participant. We are happy to answer questions, provide invoices, etc…

Teva Community had an exciting evening at DroneArt on April 4th

Beneath a candelit sky, a talented quartet performed masterpieces while a breathtaking drone show turned the air into a canvas of light and color.
