Our goal is to provide many ways for our campers to process, integrate and heal through what they have been through.. and when some feelings can’t be spoken, they can be painted, drawn, sculpted, danced… 🎨🖌️💃

The statistics for the trajectory of foster youth are daunting.. Nearly 1 in 4 foster youth will experience homelessness within four years of aging out of care. Up to 80% of foster youth carry serious mental health burdens, with anxiety, depression and PTSD rates far above their peers.. these are just some of the projected outcomes for those within the system.

But statistics are not destinies. They're a call to action! 🙌🏼

At Rise Above the Clouds we know that the system removes the child from the problem, but not the problem from the child. We are here to fix that..

& with the support of our community and donors we are able to do just that and more 🙏🏼

Rise Above the Clouds Summer Camp 2026 is just 10 days away!

We can't wait to see how much our first campers have grown since last year and get to know our new campers this year 🥹 What a blessing it is to be able to put this focus and intention on a group of youth that need it the most!

This is where we come in! ⛅️Through lived-experience, research backed and trauma-informed care, we are able to meet the at-risk youth with a unique level of understanding and depth on their healing journeys. They are able to gain valuable tools, insights, renewed sense of confidence, growth and connections that will last a lifetime! 🥹
