Trailhead CLOSURE Today

Upcoming restoration work at Watson Woods Riparian Preserve will result in temporary trailhead closure today - February 23rd.

- Sunday 2/23 - CLOSED: Rosser St. Trailhead.

The temporary closure is to protect the public while Prescott Creeks volunteers conduct chainsaw and overhead work in the Preserve. Volunteers will be removing Siberian elms (an invasive, non-native species) from the area. Removal of these trees is a key component of ongoing ecological restoration efforts within the Riparian Preserve. It is also consistent with the Improvement Plan for the Upper Granite Creek Watershed (2012). For more information, see PrescottCreeks.org.
