PetConnect Rescue is a Washington DC metro area, foster-based non-profit 501c3 animal rescue organization dedicated to placing abandoned dogs and cats in loving homes. All of our animals are spayed and neutered at an appropriate age and receive full medical care. The placement process is a critical component of our mission as the personalities of both the animals and the adopters are carefully considered. At PetConnect Rescue, we believe that every animal can become a treasured family pet.

He’s not even on our website yet, but we have a feeling this very good boy won’t be waiting long!

The only kind of failure we absolutely LOVE to see: a foster failure!!!

Tessa is officially home with one of our incredible foster families—truly, Makenzie and her family are phenomenal humans who do so much for PetConnect. And the very best part? She’ll now be the foster sibling helping more dogs along on their own way home.

This is why foster homes matter so, so much.

Fage, Eleanore, Robert and tiny little Tiny aren’t siblings. They aren’t even the same age. But they all needed somewhere safe to land—and in Linda’s foster home, they found each other.

A little found family. A place to feel safe, to play, to cuddle, to grow, and to be completely carefree while they wait to find families of their own.

Robert already has an adoption pending. Tiny is still too young. And sweet Fage and Eleanore are ready to find their people.

For now, though, they have each other. And that is the beautiful thing about fostering: you don’t just give an animal a place to stay. You give them a soft place to land while their whole life is changing. Thank you, Linda Swope ❤️

FRIENDS!!! It’s the last hurrah of Clear the Shelters—and we’re going out with a whole lotta puppy CUTENESS.

Some of the remaining Little Rascals and Sassy’s puppies will be at the Frederick PetSmart this Saturday, ready to meet their people and, we hope, head home for good.
