Rochelle Sobel, ASIRT’s president addresses participants at a side meeting of the UN high-level meeting of road safety stakeholders. Rochelle speaks about the loss of her son Aaron and how that led to the founding of ASIRT and its efforts to reduce road crash injuries and fatalities. We’re heading into the most dangerous months of the year for bicyclists. 🚲⚠️ Sharing the road is a 2-way street.

Cyclists — ride defensively:
🚴 Stay visible
🚴 Ride with the flow of traffic
🚴 Be predictable

Drivers, remember to check:
🚗 Blind spots before changing lanes
🚗 Intersections before making a turn
🚗 Your mirror before opening your car door

Severe weather can create hazardous road conditions. ⛈️ If you find yourself driving on slick roads during a downpour, slow down and remember the basics. ⤵️

If you come across high water, Turn Around, Don't Drown!
