An extra day off calls for a little time at the sanctuary. 🐷🐮💜 We’re opening a special Community Tour this Labor Day Monday at 11 AM! Come meet the animals who call Rosie’s home, hear their stories, and experience the sanctuary up close.

Bring the family, bring a friend, or just bring yourself. We’d love to spend the morning with you. Space is limited—reserve your spot at the link in bio. 🌻

Dani wags what’s left of her tail when she’s happy, and that’s a lot!! 😍🥰

Her tail was cut off when she was just days old—a routine practice for pigs raised in industrial agriculture. She was born into a system where no one needed to know if she was happy. And then, Dani jumped off a transport truck and changed her fate.

Now she has mud and sunshine and friends. She has a name and respect. She has people who ask, “Dani, are you happy?” and actually care about the answer.

And with what’s left of her tail, she answers. 💞

What we do with that knowledge is up to us.

A busy Saturday morning at Rosie’s. Chores underway, volunteers everywhere, tours heading out, a whole sanctuary in motion…

and tiny Mae Mae happily in the middle of all of it. Just another morning in her little sanctuary world. 😂😍

There are some things we can never give back to Rebecca. The babies she carried but never got to raise. The years of motherhood measured in separation and loss. A lifetime shaped by an industry where every baby she loved was taken from her.

We cannot rewrite any of that, but we can give her this: her beautiful son, River, pressing his head into hers. A baby who will never disappear. No one coming to take him, no last morning together.

Just a mother and her child, with all the ordinary days ahead of them. River will grow up beside her. She will watch him become who he is meant to be. And for the rest of Rebecca’s natural life, she will know what should have been hers all along: the ordinary privilege of loving her babies—and getting to keep them. 💜

You can’t tell me that Moose doesn’t know *exactly* what he’s doing. 😂😂

Why chase the cantaloupe when you’ve already trained the humans to hand-feed you?!? Smart puppy!
