We're Hiring! Join the Team at Firm Foundation of Virginia

Are you passionate about empowering families and strengthening our community? Firm Foundation of Virginia is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Family Stability Case Manager (15-20 hours per week) to provide strengths-based support to expectant and single mothers with children.

Position Overview:

Role: Family Stability Case Manager (Part-Time, 15–20 hours/week)

Key Responsibilities: Conduct participant intake and assessments, develop individualized transition plans (housing, employment, financial stability, etc.), connect participants with community resources, and provide ongoing progress reviews.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field (Master’s preferred). Experience in case management or family support is a plus. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

We have exciting news this Monday morning! 🌟

Firm Foundation of Virginia, Inc. is thrilled to share that our Housing Stability & Economic Mobility program was funded with a two-year, $60,000 grant from the Hampton Roads Community Foundation!

This project was funded by the G. Barbara Hudgins Foundation Fund and the Perry and Bunny Morgan Fund of the Hampton Roads Community Foundation.

This support will allow us to expand our local impact and empower more families on their path toward housing stability and financial independence. Thank you to the Foundation and its generous donors! 🏡✨

Firm Foundation of Virginia has been awarded a $15,000 Pathways to Stabilization Pilot Program Grant from Sentara! 💛✨

Running from October 2026 – September 2027, this generous investment will directly support our efforts to provide housing stabilization, supportive services, and life-changing opportunities for single mothers and their children as they build brighter, more stable futures.
