Dear God, thank You for this new day and thank You for giving me strength that comes when I trust You more. Your word in Isaiah 40:31 says, “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings as eagles. They shall run and not be weary. They shall walk and not faint.” God, there are days I feel completely worn out, running on empty and tired of waiting, but I’m choosing today to put my hope in You instead of my own strength. Even in the moments I don’t feel like I’m getting stronger, I trust that You’re lifting me up. Help me keep going today, through the tears and through the pain, knowing You’ve got me every step of the way. Thank You for hearing my prayer. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might He increases strength. -Isaiah 40:29

Dear God, as a new week begins, I come before You with a heart full of gratitude. Your word in Psalm 61:2 says, “From the end of the earth, I call to You. When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I.” God, I’m asking for Your guidance and wisdom this week, the kind that helps me prioritize what truly matters and focus on what aligns with Your purpose for my life. Give me the strength to overcome every challenge I face and walk in Your ways. May Your Holy Spirit lead me on the path of righteousness and help me make decisions that honor You. I surrender this entire week into Your hands. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My loving eye on you. -Psalm 32:8

Dear God, thank You for this new day and for Your word that reminds me I’m going to be okay. Your word in John 16:33 says, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” God, this year has been one of the hardest of my life, but I’m holding onto the truth that You’ve never lost a battle and You’ve been faithful through every single one of mine. Dry my tears today and help me stand firm on Your promises. Remind me that You’ve given me a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind, not fear. No matter what today brings, You’re the same yesterday, today, and forever. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. -Psalm 46:7

08/27/2026

Dear God, thank You for this new day and for a love that held You on the cross, not nails. Your word in Hebrews 12:2 says, “Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross.” God, today I’m choosing full surrender. I don’t want to keep looking to people, substances, or anything else this world offers to fill what only You can fill. I’m putting everything on the table because it’s You or nothing for me. I believe You were thinking of me on the cross, and the friendship You wanted to have with me, and I don’t want anything to keep separating me from that. Take whatever I’m still holding back from You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. -Colossians 3:2

Dear God, You’re great and mighty, full of love and everything good. I pray today that You calm my heart emotionally and physically. Your word in John 14:1 says, “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.” God, regardless of what I’m facing right now, give me the strength to endure and the peace that reminds me greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world. I trust that You’re meeting every need according to Your riches and glory, and I’m declaring that pain, sadness, anxiety, and worry have no place in me right now. When I grow tired and weary, renew my strength. You’re my refuge, and I trust You to fight every battle I’m facing. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. -Joshua 1:9

08/25/2026

Dear God, thank You for this new day and for loving me first, long before I ever had anything good to bring to You. Your word in 1 John 4:19 says, “We love Him because He first loved us.” God, just like the man in Mark 5 who had nothing to offer but brokenness, I come to You today with whatever baggage, shame, or sin I’ve been carrying. It doesn’t matter what happened yesterday or last night. Your grace is a free gift, and it’s strong enough to set me completely free from anything I’ve been stuck in. I have nothing to lose by giving this all to You, so I’m giving it to You today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. -Romans 5:8

08/21/2026

Dear God, thank You for this new day and for Your word that reminds me to be prepared for whatever comes against me today. Your word in Ephesians 6:11-12 says, “Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” God, the enemy tries to give me a hundred reasons to break down, but You’ve given me a million reasons to keep going. When he comes hard after me today, I’m going back harder with prayer. Help me stand firm in my faith and remember that I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. -1 Peter 5:8

08/20/2026

Dear God, thank You for this day and for being a God who’s always doing something new. Your word in Isaiah 43:18-19 says, “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” God, I’m standing at the edge of something unfamiliar, and part of me is still holding onto what’s behind me, and I need to let that go. I need to remember that I’m not defined by where I’ve been, I’m being refined for where I’m going. I don’t want to go back to what broke me or return to what You already rescued me from. Help me trust the process and embrace this new season, even when I can’t see the way forward yet. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

But the path of the just is like the shining sun, that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day. -Proverbs 4:18

08/19/2026

Dear God, You’re mighty and full of compassion, and I come into Your presence today with gratitude for keeping me and my family together. Your word in Psalm 34:7 says, “The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, and He delivers them.” God, I welcome You into my home right now and ask for Your covering over every room, every wall, and every door. I can’t protect my home alone, so surround it with Your angels and keep out anything that isn’t from You. Let Your peace dwell here and cast out every bit of fear and anxiety. I trust Your plans to prosper me and not harm me, and I stand on that promise today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe. -Proverbs 18:10

08/18/2026

Dear God, thank You for this new day and for being a God who knows the beginning and the end. I pray for the children all over the world right now and ask for Your protection and covering over them and their families. Your word in Psalm 91:11 says, “For He will command His angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways.” God, in a world full of uncertainty, I believe Your angels are surrounding our children even when we can’t see it. No weapon formed against them will prosper, and I speak the blood of Jesus over their lives this morning. Thank You for going before them and making a way. You’re a God who watches over us, and we trust You completely. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. -Psalm 147:3
