Last Friday, KOIN News celebrated Nexstar's annual Founder's Day of Caring by volunteering with us, and we can't thank them enough!

From the early morning cut-ins with Kohr and Carl to the group projects in our warehouse and park, their team brought so much energy and heart to the day. We always look forward to partnering with KOIN 6 and are incredibly grateful for their continued support of our community. ❤️

Do you speak more than one language? We're looking for bilingual volunteers to help connect neighbors to essential services during select one-day shifts. Our greatest language needs are Mandarin, Cantonese, Russian, and Ukrainian.

These volunteer shifts involve working directly with clients and being on your feet for several hours outdoors.

Hello Community!

This week is a short week at SnowCap. Please plan ahead as we'll will be closed on Friday, June 19th, in honor of Juneteenth! We will reopen for regular services on Monday, June 22, 2026 from 10 am - 2 pm!

Juneteenth is a federal holiday commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans — a powerful reminder of freedom, resilience, and progress. 🖤❤️💚

Today is Ana's last day at SnowCap! 💙

For the past year and a half, Ana has been an amazing SnowCap intern through MHCC. She was always willing to jump in wherever help was needed, whether that meant pantry work, clothes sorting, helping with regular food routes, or working in the warehouse.

Ana has become a beloved part of the SnowCap family, and while we are sad to see her go, we are excited for her next adventure. This week, she is graduating from MHCC 🎓, and we could not be more proud of her!

Congratulations, Ana! 🎉Thank you for all your hard work, dedication, and positive attitude. You have made a lasting impact here at SnowCap, and we are so grateful for everything you have done. We hope you will come back and visit us soon!

Help us keep the pantry running and support neighbors in our community 💙

Our pantry volunteers play a key role by filling grocery carts based on client orders, adding requested items like diapers or pet food, delivering carts to clients, and keeping carts circulating throughout the day.

Shifts are weekdays from 9:45 AM to 2:15 PM, and we’re ideally looking for a weekly commitment.

Please note that this role involves light but repetitive bending and lifting to fill carts with groceries. Volunteers should also be comfortable being on their feet for a few hours at a time in a fast-paced environment.
