On World Mental Health Day, The Capitol Theatre was full of people who came to be together.

Our co-founder Mark Barden took the stage as a special guest for Especially Everyone’s 2026 Fall Experience, sharing it with Oteil Burbridge, Karl Denson, Jennifer Hartswick, and the EE Ensemble.

The show fell on World Mental Health Day and World Inclusion Day, and it was a good picture of what music can do when it’s made for everyone: put a room full of people in the same moment.

Artist For Action is built on the idea that artists can do more than perform. They can help their communities look out for one another. Nights like this are where that idea becomes something you can see and hear.

Thank you to Especially Everyone and The Capitol Theatre for having us, and to everyone who came out.

The music, the dancing, the laughter, the joy. Every voice, every movement, every moment of connection.

From the stage to the dance floor, The The Capitol Theatre came alive in a way we’ll never forget.

Different people, different stories, all coming together through music. This is what Especially Everyone is all about.

And the best part? We’re just getting started.

On Saturday night, a room full of people sang together, shared a moment, and connected through music at The Capitol Theatre…and we’re still feeling it.

To Oteil Burbridge, Karl Denson, and Jennifer Hartswick, and to the EE Ensemble: thank you for making the music something everyone could be part of. To Mark Barden, thank you for joining us.

To our co-presenters FECA and Pathways, our co-producers G4D Productions and The Capitol Theatre, and every partner, sponsor, and volunteer who made the night and the whole of Come Together Week happen: we couldn’t have done it without you.

And to everyone who came out and decided to be a part of the moment, we thank you especially. Together, we are building the connected communities we all need.

The Greenwich Rotary Club had the wonderful opportunity to come together with Especially Everyone to help create beautiful signs and a mural in preparation for their special event at the Capitol Theatre! 🎭✨

And WOW… what an amazing event it turned out to be! ❤️

Today, on World Mental Health Day, we’re reminded that connection matters.

Music has a unique ability to bring people together, create belonging and make space for conversations that can be difficult to have alone.

Tonight, Artist For Action is proud to join Especially Everyone at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY for the 2026 Fall Experience, with our co-founder Mark Barden appearing as a special guest alongside Oteil Burbridge, Karl Denson, Jennifer Hartswick and the EE Ensemble.

Artist For Action was built around a simple belief: artists can help create safer, healthier and more connected communities — and moments like this are exactly what that can look like.

Looking back at , we’re feeling incredibly grateful. From the early morning prep sessions to meaningful breakthroughs, watching everyone come together has been nothing short of inspiring.

A massive thank you to our incredible speakers for sparking the conversations that challenged our thinking and paved the way for the real magic: making new connections, face-to-face, in real time. Feeling that undeniable synergy when the right people get in the same room is exactly why we do this. And it’s only a glimpse of what’s to come.
