Today, we are excited to share a milestone that would not have been possible without your support: Drive to Make a Difference has officially granted its 200th wish.

When we founded Drive to Make a Difference in 2018, our goal was to provide emotional and financial support to pediatric oncology patients and their families within our community. We knew that cancer treatment is about more than medicine. It is about helping children and families find hope, joy, and moments of normalcy during an incredibly difficult time.

That vision led to the creation of our Radiating Wishes Pediatric Support Program, which provides pediatric radiation oncology patients with a special wish to look forward to during treatment. What started as an idea to brighten a child's day has grown into something far greater than we could have imagined.

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners, we have now:

• Granted 200 wishes to pediatric cancer patients and their families
• Raised more than $190,000 to support local families
• Averaged a wish granted approximately every 9.5 days since the program began
• Created countless moments of joy, encouragement, and hope for children facing cancer

Those 200 wishes have come in many forms. Some children wished for gaming systems that helped them stay connected with friends during treatment. Others dreamed of special experiences, family trips, sporting events, toys, or activities that gave them something exciting to focus on while battling cancer.
We've seen children celebrate wishes on their final day of radiation treatment. We've heard from families who told us that a wish gave their child the motivation to keep showing up for treatment. We've witnessed smiles, tears, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime.

While every wish is unique, they all share one thing in common: they were only possible because of people like you.

To everyone who has attended an event, volunteered their time, sponsored a fundraiser, donated, shared our mission, or simply cheered us on along the way, thank you. This milestone belongs to all of us.

As we celebrate our 200th wish, we remain committed to continuing this mission and creating even more moments of hope for children and families who need it most.

We are pleased to announce that registration for the 9th Annual Drive to Make a Difference Charity Golf Outing is now open! The event will be held on Sunday, August 9th, 2026 at The Polo Fields Golf & Country Club in Ann Arbor. To register or learn more, please visit www.drivetomakeadifference.com

Once again, we’re raising funds and awareness to support children with cancer in our community, along with those who care for them. Since Drive to Make a Difference began in 2018, over $190,000 has been raised through numerous events and more than 190 children undergoing radiation treatment have been positively impacted through our mission.

We are currently seeking players, volunteers, corporate sponsors, as well as silent auction items to help make this year’s outing another great event for all.

This family-friendly afternoon of bowling, pizza, and raffles helps us continue supporting pediatric oncology patients and their families in our community during some of their most difficult moments.

We are pleased to announce the 6th annual Rally in the Alley, hosted by Drive to Make a Difference. This event will take place March 7th, 2026 from 1-3 p.m at Plaza Lanes in Plymouth. This event will include two hours of bowling, plus pizza and soft drinks for all participants. Additionally, there will be a 50/50 raffle, silent auction, fun mini games, and access to the full restaurant and bar.

Rally in the Alley will raise funds to help provide emotional and economic support to pediatric oncology patients and their families living in our community. It's a great opportunity to support our patients, while having fun at the same time. We are looking for bowlers, lane sponsors and silent auction items!!

This event is family friendly, so bring out the whole crew!

Tickets will be open to the public, and limited spots are available. Registration for this event is now open!!!!!!
