With March approaching quickly, we’d like to share a quick reminder about the 6th Annual Rally in the Alley on March 7, 2026, at Plaza Lanes in Plymouth from 1–3 pm. This family-friendly afternoon of bowling, pizza, and raffles helps us continue supporting pediatric oncology patients and their families in our community during some of their most difficult moments.

Greetings,

We are pleased to announce the 6th annual Rally in the Alley, hosted by Drive to Make a Difference. This event will take place March 7th, 2026 from 1-3 p.m at Plaza Lanes in Plymouth. This event will include two hours of bowling, plus pizza and soft drinks for all participants. Additionally, there will be a 50/50 raffle, silent auction, fun mini games, and access to the full restaurant and bar.

Rally in the Alley will raise funds to help provide emotional and economic support to pediatric oncology patients and their families living in our community. It's a great opportunity to support our patients, while having fun at the same time. We are looking for bowlers, lane sponsors and silent auction items!!

This event is family friendly, so bring out the whole crew!

Tickets will be open to the public, and limited spots are available. Registration for this event is now open!!!!!!

Thanks to your kindness and support, we were able to make that dream come true. Moments like these remind us why the Drive to Make a Difference exists. We’re happy to share that the 8th annual Drive to Make a Difference charity golf outing that was held at the Links of Novi on August 9th was another tremendous success. The event included a field of 100 golfers and was again supported by numerous sponsors, donors, participants, and volunteers from throughout the community.

We are excited to report that approximately $15,000 was raised to support the Drive to Make a Difference mission of providing emotional and economic support to pediatric oncology patients and their families living in our community. This would not have been possible without the participation, support, and efforts of so many. For this we will be forever grateful.

Along with the entire field of golfers, we were honored to share the day with two very special families and this year’s recipients of the Bob Kunkel and Barbara Chawla Legacy awards for outstanding community service and philanthropic efforts. We recently granted our 175th Wish! We had a young girl finish her radiation treatments recently and her #1 wish was an Apple Watch + Lululemon Clothing! Thank you to everyone who supports the Drive to Make a Difference mission. Without you none of this would be possible.

We are pleased to announce that registration for the 8th Annual Drive to Make a Difference Charity Golf Outing is now open! The event will be held on Saturday, August 9th, 2025 at the Links of Novi. To register or learn more please visit www.drivetomakeadifference.com.

Once again, we’re raising funds and awareness to support children with cancer in our community, along with those that care for them. Since Drive to Make a Difference began in 2018 over $175,000 has been raised through numerous events and over 175 children undergoing radiation treatment have been positively impacted.

We are currently seeking players, volunteers, corporate sponsors, as well as silent auction items to make this year’s outing another great event for all.
