From Elisemene:
"Today, I proudly graduate as a Physical Therapist after four and a half years of hard work, sacrifice, and perseverance. This journey was far from easy. Living and studying in Haiti during difficult times brought many challenges—economic hardship, insecurity, transportation problems, and uncertainty about the future. There were moments when I felt exhausted, discouraged, and overwhelmed. Sometimes I felt lost and wondered if I would ever reach this day.
Despite all the obstacles, I kept moving forward. There were days when giving up seemed easier, but the support, prayers, encouragement, and love of my family, friends, professors, classmates, and everyone who believed in me gave me the strength to continue. Every challenge taught me resilience, every setback made me stronger, and every sacrifice brought me one step closer to my goal.
Today, I stand here with a grateful heart, proud to have earned my degree and to become a Physical Therapist with both heart and technique. This achievement is not mine alone—it belongs to everyone who supported me throughout this journey. Thank you for believing in me when I doubted myself, for lifting me up when I was struggling, and for helping me turn this dream into reality.
To anyone facing difficulties: never stop believing in yourself. The road may be hard, but persistence, faith, and determination can carry you farther than you ever imagined. Thank you all for being part of my story and my success."
