Hello fellow RC friends...... here is a long awaited update from Friends of Hines Park Rc.

We have been patiently waiting for clay mix since March,(Super Frustrating) and still might not see it for another 2 or 3 more weeks. We have had plans for a Tournament held at the track but sadly we keep getting kicked in the @ #$$%^^&. No clay or pipe, This, I believe is because of supply chain / budgetary problems from Wayne County.

Wayne county is willing to provide us with 10 yards, as soon as it gets here!

We also have non corregated pipe with end caps and connectors being donated. Thanks Dan Ervans for getting that connection (it wont be yellow but the same as the new Novi track), but we need to stick to gether and agree to not move it. We will also be using the same U shaped anchors to hopefully stop it from damaging the pipe during crashes and a little harder to move😉

Once all of this is complete we can schedule a fun track day with food, races and stuff for kids and a give away from someone special, hopefully before the nice weather runs away.

We are also starting to fund raise for the Rock Crawler Course.
Plans are coming together now and we could break ground before winter if we have enough donations.

Was a good day untill it rained on us. Thanks for all the hard work Mike and Rob.

So who has equipment we can use for the track, bob cat, compactors, front loader, skid steer...etc that we can use, the county has offered me 10 more yards of the red clay mix but want a date set with equipment so it's not sitting there like the last load.

The county has offered us another 10 yd of the infield clay mix that we've already been using, and so far I believe it is working out great, special thanks to for all his hard work.
The mix is free as long as we schedule a date for its use, we need to schedule equipment before we post in main group for help, please any help with powered equipment(skid steers, compactors, etc...) would be much appreciated!

Just finished the IRS 1023 form for tax exempt.

Thank You so much to all that donated and supported us.

Once the website is up and running we will be able to accept tax exempt donations for the Non-Profit.

Big thanks to Robert at Plymouth-Legal for helping and filing all the paperwork.

The wrighting is on the wall..lol
Papers are filled and we are officially a Non-Profit with state of Michigan.
This week we start the paperwork for our form 1023 for exempt status with IRS.
