Last week, students enjoyed an exciting Agricultural Field Day at Barth Elementary in Romulus, where they rotated through learning stations that brought agriculture to life.

Students enjoyed a wide variety of hands-on activities, from learning what plants need to grow, planting their own vegetable or flower, and exploring different farm seeds to making bath salts with flowers and oils.
They milked a dairy cow, met a goat, lamb, and beef cow, and got an up-close look at tractors and other farm equipment.
They even stepped back in time to see how a vintage washing machine and other household items from the past were once used.

The day was made even more special by the students’ joy, curiosity, and eagerness to learn. A heartfelt thank-you to our incredible WCFB volunteers, the staff and administration at Barth Elementary, and, of course, the students for welcoming us into their learning journey and helping us share the importance of agriculture in such a fun and meaningful way.

Hi all,
Unfortunately due to incoming weather we have decided to cancel and move the date for the First Annual Frank Rochowiak Car, Tractor, and Semi Truck Show from tomorrow June 6th to October 24th. However the carnival is still going on and will be happening starting today all the way through Sunday. We will be going live to do the raffle drawing and you do not need to be present. We are sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused. We look forward to seeing you all during fair week and on October 24th!!
