Laura Achouatte will set up for the afternoon @ Blackwatch Library in Ticonderoga NY to answer any questions one might have about what it takes and means to foster in our TFC program. Please come out! Free informationals and free goodies for the kids!

Our Homefinder, Laura, is spending the afternoon at Crandall Library today to answer any of the public’s questions on foster care and therapeutic foster care. It’s a lovely drizzling rain outside today, so come on over to the library and say Hi!!

Join us this Friday 9/4 from 3p -5 p at our new site on Willowbrook Road to celebrate September as Recovery Month with our Circle of Support event!!! There will be fun,food trucks, and lots of vendors who can help support you or a loved one on your journey. Come on out everyone! There will be fun and activities for all ages!! It was a beautiful and bright but humid day in the park yesterday!!

Homefinder Laura Achouatte (featured in the photos) representing BHSN Therapeutic Foster Care at the 2nd Annual Warren County WIC hosted event: 2026 Walk For Breastfeeding at Glens Falls City Park yesterday, Friday, August 7 in Glens Falls.

Many organizations were in attendance, showing their support for awareness of the importance of breastfeeding, and also to give word about their own organization and what services they provide to the community.

There were some games, drawings, free goodies and snacks provided by non-profit vendors. Everyone enjoyed themselves and talking about their programs to passersby. Then, at 11 am, we all walked the square around the park with signs to celebrate and encourage the cause we were there to support!!

All of us at TFC thank the partners at Warren County WIC program for inviting us this year and we’ve secured our spot for next year’s event!! Join us next year or at our next tabling event!

Thank you to Essex County, NY Health for hosting the “Locally Grown” Community Baby Shower Event this afternoon. What a great turnout! We had a great time informing families about our Therapeutic Foster Care Program, Therapeutic Visitation Program and Child & Family Respite Program. We are looking forward to next year!
