The Plattsburgh Lions Club is hosting our annual blood drive on Monday, November 3rd at the Comfort Inn Breakfast Room at 3 pm.

Our blood drive is being held in memory of Sammie Bartlett. Sammie was diagnosed with 1p36 deletion syndrome at birth and passed unexpectedly at 12 years old in 2019. Sammie was a bright light that modeled what it means to choose to live your life spreading joy and love despite his diagnosis. Sammie received multiple blood transfusions during his treatment for 1p36 deletion syndrome. By donating at our blood drive, you can help give people like Sammie the strength to continue reciprocating the love and support they receive to others.
