Four special concerts take place in Plattsburgh on September 12 and September 13: period music programs focusing on music known to listeners at the time of the Battle of Plattsburgh in September 1814. Each of these concerts at Trinity Episcopal Church showcases North Country artists performing masterpieces, from J.S. Bach's Brandenburg Concertos to the hymns of William Billings, from the chamber music for wind instruments by Ludwig van Beethoven to the instrumental works of Georg Philipp Telemann. Yet each of these celebrated compositions has fought and won their own battles: the challenges of the tests of time. https://buff.ly/ApxuEDv
