Our salsa event was so much fun! We turned a table of beautiful vegetables into bowls of delicious salsa. Everyone had the same salsa recipe card to go off of but it was amazing to see everyone’s variations. Some people put more spice, more cilantro, extra tomato or lots of onion, but we all worked towards the same goal. A summertime fresh snack! 🌶️🫑🌽🧄🍅🧅

Did you know you can host your next event at Hygge Ministries? A beautiful space with a kitchen, cozy living room area and tables and chairs are available for additional seating. This is the place to make memories, celebrate the little things, share a meal, and laugh with your people.

We would love to have your event here, baby shower, birthday party, bridal shower, retirement party and more, this space was made for it! This year it’s available on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Most often rented by the hour, but entire day rates are available too. For more information or booking requests please email us at [email protected]

Our peach canning class was a great success! We had a large group and everyone was able to get their hands involved and learn together. The room was full of families and friends while the feeling of community filled the air. Everyone working together for a common goal and being content in the present moment, that’s what these Hygge moments are all about. The fresh canned peaches to enjoy all year round are definitely an added bonus! Join us for one of our upcoming classes!

It's not too late to get in on the summer fun at Hygge Ministries! We still have a couple classes coming up in the next month.

Saturday, August 8th:
Peach Canning Class
9AM-3PM
We will be learning how to can fresh peaches together, a valuable skill to have. We will also be enjoying a light lunch while we process the peaches.

Thursday, August 27th:
Fresh Salsa Class
7:00-8:30PM
We will be getting together to make fresh salsa, with each person having the oppoutinity to bring fresh veggies from their own garden for use!

Thanks to Denise for sharing so much flower knowledge with us during our Exploring Nature with Flowers camp. Plain City Flower Farm will be with us again July 30.

God graciously blessed us with beautiful summer weather for our Exploring Nature through Flowers, Butterflies and Animals Mini Camps. Thanks to Plain City’s Flower Farm for helping us create smiles, gain skills and have fun during this week’s flower camp. These kiddos were eager to learned about flowers and build an arrangement with guidance from Denise Harless.

The Monarch butterfly and caterpillar hunt proved successful. Eggs and caterpillars found among the beautifully blooming milkweed growing among the clover covered pasture.

The animals enjoyed the extra attention, petting, grooming, treats, and rides with the children.
