Living Word Worship Center We provide a hot meal and essential supplies to homeless people on the street Each time we go to the streets of Central Ohio, we distribute Blessing Bags.

Every month, Operation Compassion, an outreach ministry of Living Word Worship Center, provides meals, clothing, and hygiene items to men and women experiencing homelessness. The outreaches are designed to help establish supportive relationships, offer prayer, and impact their lives with the goodness of God through the resources we are able to offer them through our supporters. Blessing bags are f

illed with soap, shampoo, deodorant, toiletries, and other essential items. We also provide a hot, home-cooked meal. Additional items such as tents, tarps, blankets, coats, clothes, and shoes are also offered. By building relationship with them, they discover they are worthy of love and can receive healing and hope through Jesus. Through our outreach efforts to the homeless in local communities, our vision is to treat each person we meet with dignity, and remind them of their value and God’s goodness without judgement.

We had a beautiful outreach Saturday and were blessed to have a team from Ignite, Ashland, OH join us. Thank you Belinda Perelka and team for all of your support and for being a part of the outreach. It was great to have you with us!

Wondering what’s in our blessing bags this month for the homeless?

This is the minimum. Then if they meet a tent, they will get a tent, if they need a coat, they will get a coat (courtesy of the Country Closet)

They will get an amazing hot meal courtesy of Der Dutchman, Mashed potatoes, corn, fried chicken, roast beef and stuffing!

Plus… they get some staples on top 🙂

A big shout out to all who have contributed toward the homeless outreach. We have been so touched by your recent response for additional support which has allowed us to purchase tents, sleeping bags, tarps and other daily essentials for our next outreach.
