This beautiful senior girl is still searching for her forever home!

Sweetie is estimated to be between 10-14 years old. She spent the majority of her life living outside up until a couple months ago. Since then, she has been learning the comforts and safety of life indoors— and she’s been thriving! Thanks to her amazing foster mom!

Griffin is more than ready for his forever home! After being born inside a shed by mama Raven, he was brought into foster and has been growing into the happiest, most affectionate kitty! He would be a prime candidate for a hoodie pocket nap, he can snuggle with anyone who will give him the chance! He loves playtime and loves his kitten siblings and even his dog foster sister! He brings constant laughs and love to the world.

We wanted to share this lovely boy, Daniel, with you all in hopes he might find his perfect family. He's been brought in and vetted by a trusted friend of APN.

Daniel was brought in from the streets after being found outside in poor health. He is an extremely friendly, social, and snuggly boy. He's been described by his foster as very easy-going and low maintenance, but also very playful! Due to the wounds he had when he was found, he has had a full series of bloodwork. Through this he was found to be FIV+, making him unsuited for life outdoors. He's now in great health and wants to find a home of his own. Due to his FIV status and his style of play, he would do best as an only cat, in a house with other FIV cats, or in a house with a dog. If you have any questions about owning an FIV+ cat, please reach out!

APN recently coordinated care for the stray kitty "Clover" who took refuge with our friends at Hey Hey Bar and Grill. The timing couldn't have been better, as she was suffering a life-threatening infection. We're thankful she's doing so well and getting so much love from the Hey Hey family!

We are so grateful to our friends at The Animal Protection Network for helping to get Clover, the Hey Hey’s Patio Cat, spayed and vaccinated last month! When Clover arrived for surgery, the doctors discovered she had ovarian cysts and was actively fighting pyometra, a life-threatening infection in her uterus. If APN hadn’t stepped up when they did, Clover would not have survived another week.

Thankfully, Clover has recovered well and is back on the patio greeting patrons on a daily basis! 🍀

We are hoping to help APN recoup some of the funds they spent on Clover’s surgery, since it became much more complex and expensive. We have also asked Clover for a wish list of items to keep her comfortable, which we know she would appreciate! If you’re able to help, please use the QR codes below! 🙏

He loves dogs and other cats, is fully vetted, and about 5 months old. He'd make the perfect addition to just about any family, as long as he has a playmate.

Raven survived five long years outside, raising litter after litter with no safety and no comfort. Now she finally has a chance to heal — but she needs us to help her finish her journey. 💛

Raven still needs help with two chronic medical issues that have followed her for years:

A cloudy, injured eye that likely no longer has vision and needs a specialist’s evaluation.

A persistent skin condition on her nose, causing dark, scaley scabs that have never fully healed.

These issues don’t define her, but they do affect her comfort and quality of life. After everything she has survived, Raven deserves to step into her “mama kitty retirement” with no pain, no fear, and no lingering health problems.

Our low-cost vaccine clinic for October will be held on Saturday, Oct. 3rd, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at:

We are now offering the Lyme vaccine for your dog(s) at our vaccine clinic. The cost is $35 each and it is a series of two vaccines, 3-4 weeks apart.

Ohio is now considered endemic for tick-borne diseases, especially Lyme disease, and we have found that many of our own foster dogs have tested positive in recent years. According to PubMed Central (A database that links scientific articles related to medical journals), the Lyme vaccine is a non-core (lifestyle) vaccine recommended for dogs that live in or travel to areas with high tick populations. It requires an initial two-dose series given 3 to 4 weeks apart, followed by annual boosters. This vaccine significantly lowers the chance a dog develops clinical signs like painful joint arthritis or severe kidney complications; however, it does not completely block infection or protect against other tick-borne illnesses like anaplasmosis or ehrlichiosis. We strongly recommend you speak to your vet about this vaccine and whether you should start this series. Our vaccine clinic does not take the place of full-service veterinary care, and you should follow your pet's veterinarian's recommendations on any and all preventative care prior to coming to our clinics.

While you do not need to have the 4DX test (blood test for Heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlichia, and Anaplasma) prior to starting this vaccine, we strongly recommend that you do so should the test result be positive, then you can schedule an appointment with your vet to address the positive disease. Flea and tick medications are strongly recommended year-round to prevent the spread of tick-borne diseases.

Vaccine reactions are not common; however, anytime something new is administered to the body, a response is made by the immune system. We do not recommend pairing this vaccine with any other new, first-time vaccinations, as we will not know which caused a reaction if one happens. We also recommend that you do not receive all of the vaccines for your pet at one time. Please discuss your dog's vaccination schedule with your vet and have a plan prior to attending our vaccine clinic.
