Getting ready to harvest wheat with our 1913 McCormick Deering Wheat Binder. Pictured is with and without the canvas “curtains” that are removed for storage each year.

Will post pictures from the field tomorrow.

This machine cuts the wheat, gathers and ties it in bundles. The bundles are held on the side carrier and dumped in piles, out of the way for the next pass.
