Come curious ~ leave judgement at the door. PSST!

Free for all. (People’s Song SocieTea) is a small, community-centered gathering where artists share songs or poems (etc.) inspired by current events, followed by conversation. Prescheduled performers bring one piece, introduce why the topic matters to them and explain their piece then perform. It’s a no-bigotry, curiosity-forward space focused on ideas and dialogue. Free to attend, donation-based,

and very intimate (4–6 performers per night). Last Thursday of every month, Bantha Tea Bar, 7-9ish

Lori Beth Jones has been sharing sass and celebration almost weekly as a longtime emcee of the Steel City Poetry Slam, but her favorite children are plants, bugs, community, and Poetry & Pints. Lori Beth got involved in Pittsburgh’s poetry community because of her natural talent for filling out forms on time and stayed for the Liner Notes showcase.

Lori Beth is a delight in this world, as you will see on August 27th ~ Bantha Tea Bar ~ Always room for you!

Frank Bienkowski began writing songs in the mid-1980s and has been recording as a solo artist since 2007 under the moniker F’n Mess. More recently, he’s released two singles as The Eternal Adolescence — with more songs and a new album in the works.

We'll be giving Frank a big Psst!Psst!Psst! welcome on August 27th ~ Bantha Tea Bar ~ There's a seat for you!
