💚 On World Mental Health Day, Pressley Ridge reminds our communities that mental health matters and no one should face life’s challenges alone. Every day, our teams support children, adults and families with compassionate care, practical tools and hope for the future. Together, we can break the stigma, encourage open conversations and help each person feel seen, heard and supported.

Pressley Ridge was proud to bring together child welfare professionals, advocates and community partners in West Virginia at the B~Hope Conference and Summit to advance conversations around family-centered care and kinship support.

The event highlighted the Family Centered Treatment Foundation® (FCT) model and the new Pressley Ridge B~Hope Embracing Kinship Caregivers curriculum, reinforcing the importance of equipping families and caregivers with the tools and resources they need to thrive.

A special thank you to the West Virginia First Foundation for supporting this important gathering. Through collaboration, innovation and shared learning, we can continue strengthening families, supporting kinship caregivers and helping children remain connected to the people who matter most.

Last night, we gathered at Alla Famiglia to celebrate the incredible impact our Circle of Hope and Support donors have made in the lives of children and families served by Pressley Ridge.

We proudly presented the 2026 Hope Award to Huntington National Bank, who has been an extraordinary partner for 15 years, contributing more than $1 million to support children, families and staff across Pressley Ridge. Their longstanding commitment to Ice Cream Fundae, investment in our Day Schools, support of staff development and financial literacy initiatives, and introduction to the transformative work of the Ron Clark Academy have made a lasting difference throughout our organization.

The evening was made even more special with the support of our Champions, Marc-André Fleury and Brett Keisel, as we reflected on the hope, healing and opportunity made possible through the generosity of our donor community.

Happy National Kinship Care Awareness Month!

Driven by a shared commitment to kinship families, fifteen team members from across Pressley Ridge states and roles came together for a two-day summit focused on learning, reflection, and innovation.

Together, they explored evolving national standards for kinship care and examined our own practices to ensure the Treatment Foster Care/Kinship Care Service Line continues to provide meaningful, responsive, and high-quality support to kinship families.

Many participants brought personal connections to kinship care—as caregivers, family members, or individuals with lived experience—adding depth, passion, and authenticity to the conversations.

As states continue to shape and define kinship care, Pressley Ridge remains dedicated to staying at the forefront of best practices, strengthening our services, and honoring the unique strengths and needs of kinship families.

Kinship care provides children and youth with the comfort, connection, and stability of being cared for by relatives or close family friends when they cannot remain safely at home.

Pressley Ridge is proud to support kinship caregivers and the families they serve. This week, child welfare professionals across West Virginia will gather for the B~Hope Conference and Summit, hosted by Pressley Ridge. B~Hope is our new kinship care initiative designed to strengthen support for caregivers and keep families connected.
