🏆 Celebrating Champions! 🏆

We are incredibly proud to share that Lezetta L. Cox, Executive Director of Peoples Oakland, was honored as the 2026 Caregiver Champion at the 18th Annual Celebrating Champions Dinner and Auction hosted by UPMC Senior Services and UPMC Western Behavioral Health on October 14th! ❤️

This recognition is a testament to Lezetta’s leadership, dedication, and commitment to the individuals we serve. We are so grateful for her continued work and for the compassion and advocacy she brings to our community.

While Lezetta received this special honor, we know that the heart of Peoples Oakland is found in all of us — our staff, our supporters, and, most importantly, our members. Every day, we are reminded that recovery, hope, and community are built together. Our members are our champions, and we are honored to walk alongside them on their journeys.
