Black Diamond Ballet welcomes community members to attend its 14th Annual production of the Nutcracker November 13–22 at the El Campanil Theatre. 
For many families, the Nutcracker at El Campanil Theatre is tradition, a commencement of the winter holiday season. Attending a performance or donating to Black Diamond Ballet supports the dancers and the work required to bring this production to life. Bring your family, invite a friend, and help spread the word about the earlier dates.

“We see this as a necessary change prompted by circumstances beyond Black Diamond Ballet’s control,” says Sam Khamseh, Black Diamond Ballet (BDB) Board President. 

In addition to its annual production schedule, BDB is committed to producing a Sensory-Friendly performance, and school-day shows for students and special-day programs, all of which help make the joy of live ballet accessible to all audiences in our community.

✨ City of Stars – A Dance Gala to Keep the Arts THRIVING in Antioch ✨

Black Diamond Ballet will present “City of Stars” Gala & Benefit Concert on April 18 at the historic El Campanil Theatre. This evening celebrates the incredible dance community coming together on one stage for one purpose: to keep the arts thriving in Antioch.

Building on the momentum of the successful GoFundMe campaign to “Keep the Arts Alive,” the event will raise funds for the El Campanil Theatre Preservation Foundation to help sustain our beloved cultural landmark, and keep the arts thriving in the community. The evening will include live dance and musical performances from Black Diamond Ballet, Step 2 This Dance and Performing Arts, Be Exceptional Programs, Pittsburg Performing Arts Academy, and more! All proceeds from this event will support the theatre’s programming and general fund.
Approximately 400 guests are expected to attend this community celebration of the arts.
