Thank you to everyone who helped make the 2nd Annual Read-a-thon such a success! From donations to time volunteered, our community really stepped up for our students. We were able to raise $13,556 for the PTSO! This money will go towards mini grants for every teacher, teacher and staff appreciation meals, a 9 Square in the Air for the playground, community events, and additional classroom and teacher needs!

We hope the kids enjoyed the excitement, friendly competition, prizes, and extra time reading! In addition to our regular prizes, some lucky winners went home with jumbo Squishmallows, Kindles, and passes to paint at As You Wish!

Read-a-thon update! We passed $10,000 which means the PTSO can purchase a "Nine Square in the Air" for the playground! We think the kids will have a blast playing with it!

Our second annual Read-a-thon is wrapping up this Friday, October 2! At 9 AM there will be a SOAR assembly where results will be announced, followed by the dance party the students earned for passing 40% participation! Students are encouraged to wear pajamas so they can be cozy as they do their in-class reading later in the day. Prizes will be distributed to classrooms throughout the day and drawings for Kindles, painting passes for As You Wish, and other prizes will be done at the end of the day! Donations will continue to be accepted through the end of the day. Thank you so much for your support. We can't wait!

The deadline to buy gear and support Student Council has been extended to October 9! We hope many more people will place an order!

Your school, group or team logo printed onto spirit wear t-shirts and other custom garments. Mascots and logo artwork free for elementary school, middle school, high school as well as teams and groups.

Our Read-a-thon Wrap Up is one week from today! If you are able to spend some time at school on Friday, October 2, we have a few slots left for volunteers. There are spots for both distributing prizes and reading with the kindergartners. Thank you for sharing your time!

A little late posting this update from yesterday. We've actually passed $9K today! We're so close to our 10K prize of a "9 Square in the Air" for the playground! Thank you everyone for your continued efforts for the Read-a-thon!

Mark your calendars for the first WWA Movie Night of the year. We'll be watching Spider-man Into the Spider-Verse! Bring Cash: Admission is $1 and pizza, snacks and drinks are available for purchase. Costumes are encouraged! Funds raised will support the Mandarin program at WWA.
