As the sun rises this Saturday — the historic Climb to End Cancer of Phoenix date — we’re pausing to honor the powerful legacy this community has built through fundraising, determination, and shared purpose.
From South Mountain to every summit since, Climb has always been about more than an event. It’s been a symbol of the journey so many walk every day — patients, thrivers, survivors, caregivers, and supporters — climbing through challenge, uncertainty, hope, and healing together.
As we evolve into Climb On The Go, we’re expanding that impact statewide — empowering more people to fundraise, engage, and take action to lower cancer risk through prevention and healthy living. Our goal is clear: save more lives in 2027 than we will in 2026.
Climb is a movement — fueled by volunteer fundraisers who showed up year after year to raise critical funds, support families, and help change the trajectory of cancer in Arizona. Those dollars don’t just fund programs — they change the game in cancer prevention, early detection, access to care, and survivorship.
💬 We’d love to hear from you — share your Climb memories now. Your photos, stories, and moments from South Mountain and beyond help us honor where we’ve been as we build what’s next.
Thank you to every volunteer who has helped shape this journey and strengthened the mission of the American Cancer Society.
