Meet Peggy, one of our adult riders and one of the best smiles at the ranch!

Horses Help serves children and adults, and riders like Peggy are why we’re taking on Ranch Refresh this summer. While programs are quieter, we’re making needed repairs, improving program areas, and completing projects that support our horses’ comfort.

We’re raising $25,000 to finish the work before the 2026-2027 ride year begins.

This is what a little relief from the Arizona heat looks like. 💦🐴

Because of everyone who has donated to our summer campaign, we’ve been able to put up more shades and get the misters running. Thank you for helping us keep the horses cooler and more comfortable! 🫶🏻

We also owe a big thank-you to our Equine Manager and the volunteers who did the hot, sweaty work of getting it all installed!

We’re so excited to pilot our new TEEN HERD program this summer, thanks to a grant from The Board of Visitors! 🙏🏻🐴

TEEN HERD is a hands-on equine-assisted learning program that helps youth build confidence, communication, leadership and life skills in a safe and supportive environment.

Throughout the pilot, participants put away their phones and took part in horse care, horsemanship activities on the ground, team challenges, mindfulness and reflection. Every activity encouraged connection, problem solving and working together.

Trust. Encourage. Engage. Now.
Honor. Emotion. Respect. Devotion. That’s TEEN HERD. 🤍
