Thank you to our friends at CW7 Arizona and the entire Nexstar team for partnering with The Joy Bus for Nexstar's Founder's Day of Caring for the second year in a row.

Each June, Nexstar employees across the country step away from their desks to volunteer with local nonprofit organizations, contributing thousands of hours of service to communities nationwide.

We were honored to once again be selected as one of those organizations and to welcome the CW7 team to The Joy Bus Diner.

Today, on Founder's Day, we're celebrating the vision that started it all.

Over 15 years ago, our founder, Jennifer Caraway, set out to create something simple but powerful: delivering medically tailored meals and meaningful companionship to those bravely battling cancer. What began as one woman's mission to serve her community has grown into a movement that nourishes thousands of lives across the Valley.

We're also grateful to be celebrating alongside our friends at CW7 Arizona, who are spending the day with us for a companywide volunteer day at the Diner and featuring The Joy Bus and Jennifer's story during a special Founder's Day segment.

Thank you to everyone who has supported our journey, volunteered their time, shared a meal or helped us spread joy along the way. Here's to the power of community and the impact that can grow from one idea rooted in compassion. 💛

We are so grateful for this honor! 💛 On June 9, we attended the Greater Phoenix Chamber’s Excellence in Business Awards, where The Joy Bus was recognized as a finalist in the nonprofit category. It was an incredible evening celebrating the organizations, leaders and businesses helping make the Phoenix community so special.
