Our research shows that the coverage gaps in American safety nets are leaving many people dangerously exposed and unable to protect all areas of their lives and not just health care (which is still a huge problem, no doubt). We also realize people are not just opting out. Instead, it’s usually a sincere lack of awareness of how important and accessible getting coverage is in 2021 — and beyond.

That is why we created an American coverage gaps quiz (and why it’s one of the driving forces behind our entire mission of financial resilience). So, let’s find out! How much do you think you know about the gaps in American safety nets? ☺️ http://bit.ly/2XCk42Z

According to the Washington Post (Sep 4, 2021), "nearly one in three Americans live in a county hit by a weather disaster in the past three months." As extreme weather becomes more frequent and intense, being prepared and having a plan is more important than ever. Being prepared can save the things that matter most and help you bounce back faster should disaster strike.

What is accident insurance? Should I be investing in coverage? Accident insurance is a great way to ease the stress of potential mishaps that life may throw your way. We want to help you understand why we think it's so important. First, we should define accident insurance, which offers payouts for pre-defined, unexpected bodily injury for anyone on a given policy. Accidents are covered wherever, whenever, and however, they occur unless they were self-inflicted or part of committing a crime! To understand if this coverage is right for you, and how much of it you may need, we wrote a blog post that outlines all you should know. Check it out using this link! 😁 http://bit.ly/3Aia0d9

For the vast majority, as we age, our health care needs grow, the cost of care goes up, and our income declines. As a result, our health care becomes extremely expensive. Consider this, in 2018, the Social Science Research Network published a study highlighting that the rate of Americans over the age of 65 filing for bankruptcy in part due to medical bills had more than doubled since 1999. To lower your anxiety and keep you and your budget healthy, we're sharing six ways to save money on your health spending and positively impact your financial resilience. http://bit.ly/3n1lWgg
