𝗪𝗲 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗸𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀!

The room was filled with a mix of familiar faces and new friends as the kids jumped into their first day of summer fun. There was plenty of excitement, laughter, and energy as everyone settled in and began getting to know one another.

One of the things we're most looking forward to this summer is all of the hands-on activities and projects planned for the weeks ahead. From creative projects to learning experiences and plenty of opportunities to explore, we're excited to see what this group accomplishes together.

This week also included a special baking activity, and we'd like to extend a heartfelt thank you to a generous donor who provided the ingredients. Because of your support, the kids were able to enjoy a fun, interactive experience that quickly became a highlight of the day.

As we begin this new season, we're grateful for everyone who helps make programs like this possible. Whether through giving, volunteering, praying, or encouraging our team, your support creates opportunities for children to learn, grow, and build lasting memories.

We're excited for all that's ahead and can't wait to share more from our summer adventures.

Our Internship Program is designed for those who want hands-on experience serving
others while growing in their faith, leadership, and calling. Whether you're exploring a future in ministry, nonprofit leadership, community outreach, or simply looking to deepen your understanding of how God can use your gifts, this program offers an opportunity to learn, serve, and grow alongside our team.

One unique aspect of our internship program is the opportunity to explore different areas of ministry and nonprofit work. Based on your interests, strengths, and calling, interns may gain experience in:

If you've ever tackled a project at home, you know the part nobody puts in the before-and-after photos.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗽.

The dozens of small tasks that have to happen before the finished product takes shape.

𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴.

A few months ago, our front desk coordinator had to take some time away from work.

We had plans in place. The phones were answered. Visitors were greeted. The work still got done.

But it wasn't quite the same.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗸 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝘁 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿. Staff noticed it. Residents noticed it.

We missed the warm welcome, the familiar face, and the way she could make both residents and staff feel at home the moment they walked through the door.

It's funny how much difference one consistent person can make.

Around here, we see that every day.

Recovery comes with enough uncertainty on its own. That's why we work hard to create environments where residents know who they'll see, where they'll go, and that someone will be there to welcome them when they walk through the door.

Sometimes the smallest things leave the biggest gap when they're gone.

🚨 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘁 🚨

This 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝟵:𝟬𝟬 𝗔𝗠, we're rolling up our sleeves and giving our kitchen some much-needed attention.

As improvements continue to take shape, there's cleanup, organizing, and project work to be done to help move things forward.

No special skills are required. Whether you can stay for an hour or the morning, every helping hand makes a difference.

There's something satisfying about stepping back at the end of a project day and seeing how much was accomplished together.

Summer may be "𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗿" hot here in Arizona, but the kids at Little Dreamers Schoolhouse are finding plenty of ways to stay cool while learning, creating, and growing.

Beginning June 16, our Dream Summer Program will provide six weeks of fun, creativity, and hands-on learning for children whose families are rebuilding their lives through recovery.

Some kids will spend the summer painting rocks and discovering new artistic talents. Others will be creating vision boards, building projects, trying new activities, and working on creations they can't wait to show their parents.

Along the way, they'll be doing what kids do best: making friends, exploring new ideas, and filling classrooms with laughter.

All of it happens in a safe and consistent environment where children are encouraged to learn, create, and simply be kids.

𝗧𝗶𝗻𝘆 𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀. 𝗕𝗶𝗴 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀.

Some of the sweetest moments at Little Dreamers Schoolhouse happen in the middle of ordinary afternoons.

Homework spread across tables. Paint drying on tiny hands. Kids excited to show off a project they worked hard on.

During our Friday campus tours, guests get the opportunity to see the spaces where children are learning, creating, building friendships, and simply getting to be kids while families continue the work of recovery.

There’s something powerful about seeing it in person.

𝗦𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱’𝘀 𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.

So many people showed up ready to play, laugh, compete, and support the work happening at the Phoenix Dream Center. From the first matches to the last conversations hanging around afterward, it was just a really good day.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out, volunteered, donated, and helped make the event what it was.

And an extra thank you to @𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗡 𝗣𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗹𝗲 - 𝗚𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗹𝗲 taking such great care of everyone and making the entire event feel effortless from start to finish. The team there did an incredible job, and we’re so grateful for their partnership and support.

We loved getting to spend the day with all of you and already can’t wait to do it again.
