Allie said that sitting in one of the rooms after class.
It wasnโt always like that.
For a long time, the relationships in her life werenโt safe.
Things that looked like connections slowly became something else, and over time, she found herself stuck in patterns that were hard to step out of.
"๐ ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ฑ๐ป'๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ฒ ๐ถ๐ ๐ฎ๐ ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฟ๐๐."
By the time she did, she felt like she had already lost herself.

When she came to Where Hope Lives, she knew that change wouldn't happen overnight, but she was willing to take small steps each day.
It started small.
Showing up.
Sitting through class.
Learning how to be around people again, through supportive groups and gentle conversations, helped her rebuild trust and confidence.
Some days were quieter than others.
But she kept coming back.

Now her days look different.
More steady.
More aware of whatโs healthy, and whatโs not.
More willing to stay, even when things feel uncomfortable.
And when she talks to others who are just starting, she keeps it simpleโ
