Glendale Firefighters Charities was proud to take part in the 2025 Back to School Drive at The Salvation Army in Glendale. Thanks to your support, we were able to help over 300 families get ready for the new school year!

A heartfelt thank you to every volunteer who showed up and gave their time, energy, and heart to this event.
Special recognition goes out to our incredible Glendale Fire Cadets, your dedication and service made a powerful impact and didn’t go unnoticed.

Together, we’re proving once again that community is stronger when we lift each other up.

Glendale Firefighters Charities had an awesome time being part of the Glendale Family Bike Ride 2025 yesterday at Sahuaro Ranch Park!

With routes for every skill level (7, 15 & 23 miles), riders of all ages came out to enjoy the beautiful day and explore Glendale’s bike lanes and pathways. From helmet swaps and bike check-ups to Kona Ice, coffee, inflatables for the kids, and health & safety booths—this event had something for everyone!

We were proud to support the community and raffle off TWO brand-new bikes to a couple of lucky riders!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by—we’ll see you at the next ride!

We’re having an absolute blast at Tim Finnegan’s Irish Restaurant & Pub celebrating with our community! The energy is high, the bagpipers are playing, and the Irish step dancers are bringing the heat!

Not only is this an incredible way to spend St. Paddy’s Day, but we’re also making a difference—a portion of today’s proceeds go to Glendale Firefighters Charities, supporting those in need in our community.

Join us at Tim Finnegan’s Irish Restaurant & Pub on Monday, March 17th, for an all-day celebration filled with live music, outdoor festivities, bagpipers, and Irish step dancers! We’re kicking things off at 7:30 AM, and all ages are welcome until 4 PM!

Not only will you have an unforgettable time, but a portion of the proceeds will go to support Glendale Firefighters Charities helping those in need within our community.

This holiday season, Glendale Firefighters Charities set out to make a difference in the lives of children and families in need—and thanks to your incredible support, we achieved something truly special.

Target Toy Drive (12/12/24):
With the help of dedicated volunteers, we shopped for gifts to bring joy to children across Glendale. Using donated gift cards, we were able to provide countless thoughtful presents, ensuring no child went without a smile this holiday season.

Salvation Army Toy Distribution (12/17–12/20):
Over four days, we partnered with the Salvation Army to distribute gifts to more than 5,000 children in our community. This incredible effort was powered by volunteers who gave their time, energy, and holiday spirit to make these moments unforgettable.

What This Means for Our Community:
Thanks to the generosity of our community members, families who may have struggled this year were able to experience the magic of the holidays. Together, we brought joy, hope, and togetherness to Glendale.

Your Glendale Firefighters charities recently attended and supported an amazing charity event, put on by one of own members, Engineer Tony Merlino. Tony is one the board members of “Ryan’s Hope”. They’re a foundation that helps families with their medical expenses. With the support of this event, they’re able to make generous donations to family’s every year after experiencing significant medical complications within their family. Over the weekend, Glendale Firefighters charities had the opportunity to participate in a coed softball tournament hosted by Glendale Police Department - Arizona The tournament was put on to raise funds for the Special Olympics Arizona at Poloma Community Park in Peoria. Several first responders from all over the state participated throughout the day as the tournament raised $13,000 for the cause.

Glendale FD swung for the fences and played great defense for 7 games and finally won the championship for the second year in a row! Thank you to all of the sponsors and teams that were a part of such a great day.
