Mission of Mercy Arizona Providing Free Healthcare for Arizona's uninsured & underinsured families. Learn more: www.missionofmercyaz.org

Mission of Mercy Arizona offers free primary medical care for anyone who is without health insurance or underinsured. We provide a wide range of services, from medical treatment to diagnostic and prescription services. Collaborative relationships with local hospitals and other specialty care providers enable our patients to receive additional no cost medical care, including lab tests and X-rays. O

ne of the most expensive aspects of modern medicine is the high cost of prescription medications. The free ongoing prescriptions* we provide our patients enable them to maintain their health and allow them to return to work, care for their family, or resume productive lives. Mission of Mercy’s on-board pharmacy contains 200+ types of generic prescription medications. Our patients receive their free medications on premises as part of their patient visit.

High blood pressure and diabetes do not always come with obvious warning signs. That is why regular checkups, medications and follow-up care matter.

At Mission of Mercy Arizona, 78% of our patients have hypertension and 56% have diabetes. For uninsured patients and families facing barriers to care, access to free medical care and medications can make all the difference.

At Mission of Mercy Arizona, every clinic day is about more than providing care — it’s also about helping shape the future of compassionate healthcare.

Kevin Edwards, N.M.D., PharmD, our Assistant Medical Director, recently took time at our Mesa clinic to provide hands-on education for medical student volunteers who generously give their time to support our patients.

Through these experiences, students gain practical, real-world insight into patient care, while our patients receive the compassionate medical support and medications they need.

We are grateful for the healthcare professionals who teach, the students who serve, and the community that makes this work possible. Together, we are caring for patients today while helping prepare the next generation of healthcare workers. 💙

Mission of Mercy Arizona is on the move!

Our Director of Development, Kristi Geiger, has been busy representing MOM across the Valley, building relationships, meeting new people and sharing our mission and learning from community leaders and partners.

Recent stops included the West Valley Regional Chamber Midday Mingle, where she connected with local businesses and learned from SERVPRO of Buckeye & West Surprise/Wickenburg; the Catholic Community Foundation, Phoenix Investment Forum, where she joined meaningful conversations around endowment support and long-term sustainability with CCF CFO and MOM board member, Kyle F..; and the West Valley Women Networking Association Mayors Luncheon, where leaders from cities across the West Valley shared important community updates: Hon. Mike Pineda, Mayor, Avondale; Eric Orsborn, Mayor, Buckeye; Alexis Hermosillo, Mayor, El Mirage; Thomas Schoaf, Mayor, Litchfield Park; Joe Pizzillo, Mayor, Goodyear; Kevin Sartor, Mayor, Surprise; Ray Malinar, Vice Mayor, Glendale; Michael Finn, Vice Mayor, Peoria; and Jimmy Davis, Vice Mayor, Tolleson. Great bumping into friends too like Jessica Bradley, Sharma Torrens, Alexa Holzinger, and Catherine Locke. Thank you to our friends at Credit Union West for sponsoring.

Kristi also attended her first Local First Arizona event at Four Corners Taphouse in Peoria, introducing Mission of Mercy Arizona to new connections and reconnecting with familiar friends. Local First Arizona Four Corners Taphouse

And back at the clinic, she helped lead a morning food distribution, providing fresh produce and groceries for 30 patients in need.

We are grateful for the organizations, partners and community leaders who continue to open doors, support our work and help us bring compassionate healthcare, medications and hope to uninsured and underinsured patients across Arizona.

Thank you to the Sundt Foundation for awarding Mission of Mercy Arizona a $5,000 grant to support "access to care" for uninsured patients.

This generous funding will help provide exams, medications and patient support for individuals who turn to MOM for compassionate, no-cost healthcare.

We were grateful to welcome Francis “Frankie” McAllister from the Sundt Foundation to our Mesa clinic last week for a brief tour and check presentation. During the visit, one of our patients saw Frankie carrying the big check and asked if he could thank him personally. The two shook hands, took a photo and then the patient hopped on his bike, waved and rode away — a beautiful reminder of the real people touched by community support like this.

Thank you, Sundt Foundation, for helping us continue serving our patients with dignity.

A Growing Need. A Growing Mission. 🩷💙

In the first quarter of 2026, Mission of Mercy Arizona provided 3,099 patient visits compared to 2,435 during the same period last year — a 27% increase.

Behind every number is a patient seeking compassionate medical care, medications, chronic disease management and hope.

As healthcare costs rise and insurance coverage becomes increasingly out of reach, more individuals are turning to Mission of Mercy for help. Your support makes it possible for us to continue meeting this growing need with dignity, compassion and love.

Thank you for helping us bring healing to those who need it most. 💙
