The Arizona Downtown Alliance works to spur revitalization, inspire economic development, and encourage new business growth in cities and towns all across Arizona. The Alliance is partnering with local, state, and national stakeholders in the public, private, and non-profit sectors to be the clearinghouse for information, resources, education, and funding opportunities for citizens working to build stronger, healthier downtowns and local business districts.

Route 66 turns 100, and on June 6, Flagstaff is throwing a birthday party all across town. 🎉

From singing Happy Birthday to the Mother Road on Aspen Avenue to classic cars and axe throwing at the Flagstaff Visitor Center, plus colorful 3D chalk art at the Flagstaff Mall, Flagstaff is coming together in a big way to celebrate 100 years of Route 66. 🚗✨

The National Trust for Historic Preservation is gathering signatures to secure $250M for the Historic Preservation Fund, protect Route 66 as a National Historic Trail, and ensure preservation groups can defend historic sites in court. The National Trust for Historic Preservation is now accepting applications for the Hart Family Fund for Small Towns. Grants from the Hart Family Fund for Small Towns are intended to encourage preservation at the local level by providing seed money for preservation projects in small towns (10,000 people or less).
