As everyday devices become more interconnected, and companies collect increasing numbers of data points on consumers, consumers are becoming increasingly concerned with the data privacy practices underlying the goods they purchase. Data privacy experts, as well as the FTC, are taking a look at possible disclosure standards for data privacy on consumer goods, including this 'nutrition label' concept.
